Every year, the National YoungArts Foundation changes the lives of young artists across the country, supporting them at critical junctures of their artistic trajectories. These artists span nine disciplines, from music and photography to writing and theater.
This January I served as the Resident Advisor for Cinematic Arts; check out this video showcasing 2013′s Cinematic Arts and Dance Finalists (I’m in it, too!). More to come soon!
I relished the opportunity to contribute to the Harvard Monday Gallery’s fall exhibition, “surfacing,” via two avenues — first as a co-curator, and then as a featured artist. Both experiences were quite fulfilling: I worked with artists across disciplines in producing an exhibition, while I also felt the experience of showcasing my own work. Below are some photos from the exhibition, which ran from November 26-28 at Harvard’s Linden Street Studios. (Be sure to check out HMG’s site to stay in the loop!)
